Forget the POCO F2: POCO F3 was already certified by FCC
The POCO series was one of the most loved ones for those looking for a great phone that takes into consideration good value for the money. When it debuted in 2018 with the Poco F1, it rapidly earned a spot inside of the pockets of thousands of hundreds of users around the world.
Xiaomi tried to replicate the success in new models launches in the last months, but so far, the POCO F1 didn’t get a true successor — but it seems that things are about to change, since the POCO F3 was certified by the FCC.
The information comes from the leakster Mukul Sharma, that posted on Twitter about the upcoming device, stating that it will support 5G connectivity and that it will probably be a rebranded version of the already released Redmi K40.
If we take into consideration the specs for the Redmi K40, we can expect a device with Snapdragon 870, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of internal storage, 20 MP selfie camera, three cameras on the back (48 + 8 + 5 MP) and a battery with 4.520 mAh.
In one of the replies, Sharma suggested that the POCO F3 could be released as soon as April, so let’s keep our eyes open for new leaks emerging in the next few days.
